Fantastic pastries and unique (& delicious) latte flavors. Never disappointed, a must every time I'm in the area. Favorites: Raspberry & Cream croissant, salted caramel pastries. Tried the Honeybee, wasn't sure how peach and coffee would be together, but it was delightful!

I just tried the chocolate croissants (pain au chocolat) and the baguette; best ones in the area! Legitimate French goodness; I know, I grew up there. Definitely worth the half hour drive. BTW, I noticed a couple complaints about there not being enough chocolate in the chocolate croissant; those people don't know what they're taking about. The balance of chocolate to dough is just right, and the chocolate is the right kind of dark/sweet like you find in bakeries/pâtisseries in France.

We always have to come to Fresh Baked Café when we visit my sister. Every town should have a bakery like this. My husband and I usually share the chocolate croissant and the quiche. Although we have tried the cherry tart and the almond croissant as well. Everything is outstanding!

I visit frequently, and always have the best croissants I’ve ever had in the States. You can’t find their quality anywhere else! Excellent quiche also! Eager to try their sausage roll. Definitely a go! You will not regret!! For some reason the site won’t take my stars. I gave it 5 stars but only 1 shows up. Tried to edit several times. FIVE STARS!!!!!

Absolutely delicious food. Get there early as product can run out quickly. It can be a bit of a wait as often staff is short handed and a line forms quickly. Definitely worth the wait.

I was *completely* delighted with my ham and cheese quiche and utterly charmed by the French music playing (and the owner singing along happily in French). Hands down THE best quiche I have ever had in my life. J'adore cet endroit!

Great bakery with the most delicious croissants you’ll ever have. Limited seating, but great to take & walk over to the boardwalk by the lake.

Fresh Baked We are always on the hunt for delicious baked goods. Most of the time they are closer to the “big cities”, so you can’t imagine how excited we were to hear that Fresh Baked was opening in Oconomowoc. Just 15 minutes away, I had to prepare to gain some weight! We have now visited a couple of times and everything is delicious. Like so delicious! When you walk in the scent of backed dough reaches you and you instantly feel hungry. If you stop on the weekend or mid morning expect a wait. The first time we stopped the line was out the door onto the sidewalk. The best time to stop would be right when they open, once they sell out (which could be quick) they are done. To be fair the place is pretty small, but they have utilized the space incredibly well. The bakery specializes in French baked goods. The best thing is by far their chocolate brioche bread. To Die For. They also bake croissants. Always have different flavors, from almond, to brie, to guava. Always a good variety. The price is a little high, but the quality is on point. You can literally watch them making the baked goods while you buy the treats. The chocolate brioche is our favorite, but we have yet to dislike anything that we have ordered. Again, so glad this little bakery has opened up so close. But now we have to practice self control. Parking lot around the corner. 4.5 out of 5 stars
